Understand the Energy of Emotions
As you study the chart of emotions, notice the progression in each direction. The middle point is “Impartial.” This is the level of awareness that allows you to experience something without judging it as good or bad, right or wrong, heaven or hell. This is the tipping point.
What causes you to feel pride, anger, anxiety, depression, blame or shame? You decide to feel fear in response to a situation. Fear lowers your vibrational energy, moving you out of the higher emotions. Fear also initiates the physical fight or flight response, influencing your heart rate, digestion and hormones.
What are you afraid of? Is there a subconscious fear at work in your life? Are you unknowingly keeping your physical body in a constant state of hyper alertness, even when you are under no immediate threat?
All the emotional energies listed under impartial relate to the term commonly known as ego. Ego is largely misunderstood. A better word to use is separate. Learning to let go of separation thought processes allows you to release the separation-driven emotions.
Healing your emotions involves healing your thoughts; especially the subconscious programming that has been driving your emotions. We started the course with desire; making the decision to heal. We move on now to awareness; unraveling the layers of dis-ease we have become entangled in.
Journal your fears. Journal your anger. What is your biggest source of disappointment, regret, anxiety or shame? Who do you blame for your issues? Why does this issue bother you so much? Explore all of it, especially your emotions surrounding your diagnosis.
Affirmation: Even though my emotions may seem to spiral out of control at times, I love and respect myself. The habits of my thoughts determine how I feel, physically and emotionally. By becoming aware of these destructive habits, I will reprogram my thoughts to create the emotions of healing.
